This is the biography for Jackson Rathbone campaign thread on FanForum.com. I decided to move it here so there was more room in the opening post. You can visit the thread here

Young actor, Jackson Rathbone, had his heart set on a future in classical
theater and was headed for the Royal Scottish Academy when he signed with Pat
Cutler at Cutler Management while giving L.A. and the film industry a try for the
summer. He soon landed a recurring role on DISNEY 411 interviewing Disney
Channel stars, such as Hillary Duff and Raven Baxter.

When the fall came, Cutler persuaded Rathbone to stay in LA and pursue a film
career rather than attend The Royal Scottish Academy. Taking her advice, he
settled in for the long haul and booked several commercials right off the bat as
well as substantial roles in TV including CLOSE TO HOME, an MOW for Hallmark,
THE O.C., and THE WAR AT HOME, a pilot where he played Sherry Stringer's son.
Rathbone was also cast in several independent films, including a part in the
feature MOLDING CLAY, and a role in PRAY FOR MORNING, an independent thriller
from writer-director Cartney Wearn. From there, he landed a series regular role in Beautiful People for ABC Family.

Rathbone was chosen by Girl's' Life Magazine as The Hottie" and has also been
featured in Popstar and ELLEgirl. Born in Singapore, Rathbone was lucky to live in
various places around the world because of his father's job. The family then
moved to Indonesia, and lived in London, Connecticut, California, Norway, and
finally settled in Texas, where Rathbone joined The Pickwick Players, the youth
actors program at the local community theatre.

In addition to many extra-curricular activities, including basketball, track, soccer,
baseball, and, the official pastime of Texas, football, Rathbone, a passionate
musician, also started a band and a mobile DJ business. However, he decided to
focus on what made him the happiest, and enrolled in the prestigious Interlochen
Arts Academy as a high school theatre major where he flourished in Shakespeare.
He performed in the Southwest Shakespeare Festival as Ferdinand in The Tempest.

In his off-time, Rathbone writes music. He's performed at small open-mic nights
and recently booked a gig at The Gardenia in Hollywood. Rathbone is also a
dedicated film buff, and includes Kurasowa's Seven Samurai, Jarmusch's Dead
Man, and Lars Von Trier's documentary on directing,The Five Obstructions among
his favorites.

As a music lover, he is into many different styles of music from Blues to
alternative rock. Rathbone has recently formed a production company with his
manager where he hopes to find interesting projects and eventually, one day,
even direct.
